Shravanti Chakraborty is the head of people at Coursera.

 

Previously, she spent over ten years at Google where she was involved in a range of people and HR roles including HR strategy; learning and development; and diversity & inclusion. Shravanti was part of Google’s early HR team, responsible for establishing several of Google’s people practices to scale the company's culture, including reward systems; manager and leadership development; onboarding; and initiatives to boost employee happiness and innovation.

 

Prior to Google, Shravanti was with Dell in Austin, TX for four years. At Dell, she had roles in staffing, university relations, and HR. She helped pioneer Dell’s diversity and inclusion programs. Shravanti has a Bachelor’s in literature from Ferguson College and a Master's in human resources from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management in India. She also holds an MBA from Purdue University.
